With Friday’s first round of qualifying cancelled, Scott would have fewer attempts to get into the field for an event in which he has never qualified.  On Scott’s first full pass, the car shot straight down the groove producing a new Career Best 6.07 @ 233 mph (60ft – 1.00, 1/8th-3.98@187mph).  Scott’s previous Career Best was a 6.20 @ 230mph.  Andy McCoy stated, “I knew we could build a quality race car on time and at a reasonable price.
