(02-04-11) GREENVILLE, OH - With a new truck and trailer sitting in the lot under 2 feet of snow, Scott Ray is looking forward to a thaw. "We need to get this trailer outfitted with an awning and cabinets and is hard to do when it is covered with ice. Fortunately we have about everything done on the race car so a little warm weather would be a big help. 2011 is going to be a real challenge in the NHRA Get Screened America series with the reduced overdrive for the blowers and several good turbo cars joining the series this year. We have already seen in early testing an indication of what the turbos can do. Dad has some new stuff in the motor and we feel pretty good about our chances to be competitive." The Ohio Crankshaft Corvette will be testing at Valdosta in early March, then on to Gainesville for the season opening Gatornationals March 11-13. Major support will be coming again from World Products and JE Pistons and VP fuels has joined the team for 2011.
